Post Tension

One of the major advancements in bridge and deck construction in the United States in the second half of the 20th century was the development and use of prestressed concrete. Made possible through the use of post-tensioned steel cables run through post-tension ducts, this construction method enables thinner concrete sections, longer spans between supports, stiffer walls to resist lateral loads, and stiffer concrete deck sections.

ADS manufactures a 2" (51 mm) diameter post-tension duct that enable the construction of post-tensioned bridges, parking decks, commercial high rises and residential construction. Learn how we can help you.
